JSTL Core c:redirect Tag

The tag <c:redirect> provides same functionality as the sendRedirect() method of HttpServletRequest interface. It is used to redirect control to other pages within the web application.

Syntax Of <c:redirect> Tag

[code lang=”html”]
<c:redirect url="value" [context="context"] />
[/code]

Attributes Of <c:redirect> Tag

  • context: Specifies the context name which redirect to the another web application.
  • url: Specifies the url to redirect to the user request page.

Steps for Execution

  • Save this file as example.jsp in your eclipse IDE.
  • Now select this jsp file, right mouse click and select Run as ->Run on server

Output

When the execution process is completed successfully, the link https://javabeat.net/java-ee/ is opened.
